Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Pencil inscription to title page and front pastedown. Plates are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Water drops with some white marks overall. Slightly bowed and forward leaning.
