Cracks to hinges, exposing binding thread. Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Large area of loss to folded frontispiece. Pencil inscription to front pastedown. Some brown marks to pages. Text still readable. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Leather peeling to all surfaces. Large splits to joints. Book is bowed and forward leaning.
