Cracks to guttering, exposing netting. Binding remains firm. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper and pastedown. Water marks to top text block edge. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Fraying to spine edges. Heavy water staining, with black marks overall. Book is bowed and forward leaning.
