Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Folded maps are noticeably tanned with creases on folds. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Small splits with fraying to joints and spine edges. Mottling to all surfaces. Small area of loss to rear board. Book is bowed and forward leaning.
