Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Top text block edge dyed blue. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. White marks to all surfaces. Slightly bowed and forward leaning. Unclipped jacket with water staining to insides. Panels have heavy edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Substantial area of loss to edges. White marks overall.
