Several textbooks have recently become available which are excellent guides to the legal advancement or defence of a case. This book is different altogether,and should be regarded as a supplement rather than a competitor. The second edition retains its original aim of explaining the legal principles to doctors but it includes additional material directed at lawyers with medical principles clearly and concisely explained. It is hoped that the book will be equally useful to those advising both defendants and claimants.
