Latin Prep Book 1 was written specifically for the revised 2003 Common Entrance syllabus and covers the syllabus for Level 1. It covers 1st and 2nd declension nouns and adjectives, regular verbs in the present, imperfect and perfect tenses, numbers 1-10 and the use of prepositions. The stories are taken from Greek mythology and Roman history. Book 1 is suitable for Years 5/6. There is an accompanying Answer Book (ISBN 1902984161) containing a complete set of answers to the exercises in Book 1, and a Latin Prep Book 1 Workbook containing invaluable practice at the material contained in the pupil's book: ideal for revision and prep (excuse the pun!).
