About Revd Canon Leslie J. Francis

The Revd Professor Leslie J. Francis is director of the Welsh National Centre for Religious Education at the University of Wales Bangor. The Revd Professor Jeff Astley is Director of the North of England Institute for Christian Education and Honorary Professorial Fellow in Practical Theology and Christian Education, University of Durham. He is the author of several important studies including The philosophy of Christian Religious Education (SPCK, 1994) and co-edited Christian Theology and Religious Education with Leslie J. Francis.
