Since the last edition of this volume was published, a completely new set of building regulations (1985) has been introduced. This new edition takes account of the minimum functional requirements introduced by the 1985 regulations and also includes the 1989 revisions to the regulations on ventilation and resistance to the passage of heat. It has been updated generally. The book is aimed at BTEC, HNC/D and undergraduate students of building, surveying and architecture.
