Little Owl can't wait to leave the nest, but flying isn't as easy as it looks - in fact, it's a bit scary. It's only when Little Owl finds himself all alone that he realises he can fly . . . and begins to have fun!
About Piers Harper
Piers Harper studied Ancient History and Classical Civilisation at Sheffield University, but decided to become an illustrator rather than an archaeologist. He has been illustrating children's picture books for 10 years, including CHECKMATE AT CHESS CITY (Walker Books, 2000) and IF YOU LOVE A BEAR (Walker Books, 1998). His first two books for Macmillan, SNOW BEAR (1 405 01929 8) and LITTLE LAMB (1 405 02060 1) have velvety touch-and-feel on every page and have been enormously successful.
