Captain's Purr by Madeleine Floyd
Captain is a very handsome cat who lives in a house by the river. He sleeps, he washes, he eats, and when he is not doing that he strolls down to the river in the moonlight, jumps into his rowing boat, rows to the house where his girlfriend lives, and sits holding paws with her under the stars. Gorgeous pictures by an immensely talented new young artist illustrate a gentle, witty and surprising little text. Cat-lovers will find this irresistible..
