About Lesley Ackland

Lesley Ackland is a remedial exercise consultant and well-respected Pilates teacher. Her Body Maintenance Studio, based at the Pineapple Studios in Covent Garden, has a strong reputation. She trained with Alan Herdman in the USA and has been advisor to the Birmingham City Ballet and the London City Ballet. She has written this book with Thomas Paton, a dancer working on shows in London's West End - including Beauty and the Beast. She is the author of 15 Minute Pilates .
