About John Malam

John Malam studied ancient history and archaeology at the University of Birmingham, after which he worked as an archaeologist at the Ironbridge Gorge Museum, Shropshire. Peter Rutherford was born in Ipswich. He studied illustration and animation at Ipswich Art College and then worked as an Art Director in several London advertising agencies.
