About John Child (Reader in Criminal Law, Birmingham Law School)

John Child is a Reader in Criminal Law at the University of Birmingham, Co-Director of the Birmingham Centre for Crime, Justice and Policing, and Co-Director of the Criminal Law Reform Now Network. Prior to this, John lectured at the University of Sussex and Oxford Brookes Law School. David Ormerod QC (Hon) is Professor of Criminal Justice at University College London, Deputy High Court Judge, and a Door Tenant at Red Lion Chambers.
