Concerning Kate by Joan O'Neill

Kate Conway thinks she has her whole life mapped out for her, a rosy future with her husband Charlie and their wonderful daughter Emily. But when Charlie's ex-girlfriend turns up on the scene, things go horribly wrong. Heartbroken by his lies, Kate is determined to put her life back together. Her attempts to fend off the well-meant interference of friends and family leave her with a lodger she's not sure she needs. Jack Marsden turns out to be handsome, charming and recovering from a heartbreak of his own, so things get more complicated. Emily is missing her Daddy - and Kate is too. So when Charlie returns, Kate finds herself with a difficult choice to make. Should she forgive and forget, or take a chance on finding happiness with another?
