Authorised Happiness Vol. 2 Summary

Authorised Happiness Vol. 2 by Jean Van Hamme

A single card to access all the details of a man's life - personal data, medical history, bank details - now that would make everything simpler, wouldn't it? But what if the card stops working - would the person still exist within society? And in a world where births are regulated, how can children born illegally survive in said society if it doesn't even recognise they exist and won't let them have access to anything?

About Jean Van Hamme

Jean Van Hamme was born in 1939 in Belgium. His major breakthrough came in 1977, when he created the Viking hero Thorgal for Grzegorz Rosinski. The mix of medieval legends and heroic fantasy soon became a huge success, with major awards following. He is also the creator of the bestselling series Largo Winch and XIII(published in English by Cinebook). Belgian artist Griffo (Werner Goelen) has worked with some of the greatest names in bandes dessinees, but his most fruitful partnership was with Jean Dufaux (Lament of the Lost Moors), producing series such as Giacomo C.
