A Death in Valencia Reviews

Jason Webster has made Valencia his own... This is Chief Inspector Max Camara's second outing, and his colourful personality is every bit a match for the vibrant but often trouble home of paella he has to keep safe -- Henry Sutton * Daily Mirror *
Camara is a lively edition to Mediterranean coppery -- Marcel Berlins * The Times *
Our favourite Spanish, flamenco-loving, brandy-drinking inspector (and there are a few) is back * Sport Magazine *
Camara is the opposite of the conventional 'foodie' detective from Mediterranean fiction... [Camara's] perceptions of what is wrong with Spanish society form an original background to a complex thriller -- Jane Jakeman * Independent *
This second novel featuring resourceful protagonist Max Camara is quite the equal of its atmospheric predecessor Or the Bull Kills You * Good Book Guide *
