A charming and funny behind-the-scenes view of Town End Primary School's Christmas production of Cinderella. This speaks directly to anyone who's ever been in or watched a children's school play, from the pride a mother takes in her son (My Eric's the clock, y' know) to the drama of faulty props. Janet Ahlberg's black and white illustrations are exquisite and Allan's observations of school life are spot on.
