While this book gives Frank the chance to respond to statements made in other books written by his contemporaries, the main focus is on stories which are previously unpublished; stories about his family (his niece was convicted of murder), about prison escapes, unsolved murders, police corruption, bribery, extortion, wrongful convictions and even sex in prison. As with any diary, the reader has the strange feeling that he or she is taking an illicit peek into someone else's life. You are spying on the writer. For God's sake don't let him catch you at it!

About James Morton

Since the publication of Mad Frank, Frankie Fraser has enjoyed celebrity status, hosting his own one-man show, appearing in films and even conducting his own guided tour of London's East End crime sites. Having spent most of his adult life behind bars, Frankie, now 75, is enjoying living a quiet life, walking his dog and being able to come and go as he pleases - without having to ask permission from the Governorl James Morton is a solicitor and author who has worked with Frank on his previous books and has published several successful crime titles of his own, including Gangland International and Bent Coppers.
