Contract Practice for Quantity Surveyors by J.W. Ramus
This is an update of the first edition of this book, which was published in 1980. It deals with the straightforward discharge of quantity surveying functions giving clear, detailed, practical procedures which can be followed with confidence and a minimum of supervision. Since publication of the first edition many changes in contract practice have taken place. Standard forms of contract have been revised and new ones published. This book takes these changes into account and has additional chapters on extensions of time, claims for loss and expense and non-traditional methods of building procurement. It is intended as a guide for degree students, graduates and other young surveyors.
