About Herbert Altricher (University of Linz, Austria)

Bridget Somekh, BA, PGCE, Adv Dip Ed, MA, PhD is Professor of Educational Research at Manchester Metropolitan University and a former Depute Director of the Scottish Council for Research in Education and Dean of the School of Education and Professional Development at the University of Huddersfield. She is an Editor of the international journal, Educational Action Research. She is a former member of the Council of the British Educational Research Association, and is currently an Adviser to DG Research in the European Union, and on the coordinating groups of both the Practitioner Research SIG of the British Educational Research Association and the Collaborative Action Research Network Herbert Altrichter, University of Linz, Austria.
