Molly Tarrent, middle-aged and divorced, is living alone, brooding obsessively about her ex-husband Crispin and his new wife. A meeting with an old schoolchum, turns her life upside down. Long ago, the two girls belonged to a witch-band. Now it seems that the past is comming horribly back to life.
