Ready Wit Summary

Ready Wit by Des MacHale

Des MacHale's brilliant "Wit" series is the finest collection of humorous quips and repartee ever assembled. This is the seventh volume in the series and far from scraping the barrel; MacHale has merely cast his net wider. We can now split our sides at the sparkling wit of new younger humorists. For whilst MacHale has not forsaken old favourites, those inexhaustible wells of wit, Groucho Marx, Oscar Wilde and Woody Allen, he has also included the likes of Kathy Lette, Gary Shandling and Jeremy Clarkson.
