About Deirdre Madden

Lorna Freeborn, BEd (Home Economics and Biology), graduated from St Angela's College, Sligo, and now teaches Home Economics at Loreto High School, Beaufort, Dublin. She is the author of Get Living. The late Deirdre Madden wrote the first edition of Design for Living as well as several other home economics textbooks.
