"Perry Pontac was born in California. He has been living and writing in London for over forty years. His first play, The Old Man's Comforts, was produced in 1973 by Kenneth Tynan. Since then, he has writtennumerous plays and sketches including for the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. His many radio plays have been broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and 4, two of which, The Lunchtime of the Gods and The Bards of Bromley - in new stage versions - are included in this collection."
