Maggie Pannell is an experienced and enthusiastic food and nutrition writer with a keen interest in healthy eating. She trained as a home economist, then spent several years working in the food and diet industry. From there she moved on to a career in journalism and has since written and edited many books, including Amazing Meals for under GBP 2.50 a Person; Healthy One Dish Cooking; and the Eat Well Live Well series (all published by Reader's Digest); DIVA Cookbook (Mitchell Beazley); Cooking for Special Diets: High Blood Pressure (Thorsons); and The Dairy-free Cookbook, The Allergy-free Cookbook, and The High Vitality Cookbook in the Healthy Eating Library (also published by Lorenz Books). Maggie is a member of the Guild of Food Writers and the Guild of Health Writers and has held the position of Food Editor for several leading consumer magazines.
