It seems to me that I've been writing forever-high school essays which were hung on the classroom wall, short stories which finalled in a national contest, and family memoirs which are my mom's favourite-but none of those sweet successes compared with the thrill of having a novel accepted for publication. Linda's first Superromance, LOVE, MONEY AND AMANDA SHAW, was published in February 2001 while her second, TRUE-BLUE TEXAN, followed five months later. When she's not writing fiction, she teaches GED classes to homeless adults in downtown Houston. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Sociology and an M.S. in Education from Hunter College of the City University of New York. Linda and her husband, Michael, have three grown sons-all gorgeous and single at the moment.
