Books by George Brown
George Brown was born in London. During the War of the Running Dogs he spent four years on Special Operations in Malaya, intelligence gathering and conducting seach-and-kill missions against Communist terrorists in the jungle of Johore, as part of the 10th Federal Jungle Company of the Malaya Police Service. After a brief spell with the Johore Service he joined Socfin, a French plantation agency, and worked as a rubber planter, mainly in central and north Malaya. During the events described in Pinpoint, he was invited by the French counter-espionage service (SDECE) to go to Paris with a watching brief on a suspected plotter. In the 1970s George Brown returned from Malaya to run his own farm, where breeds pigs and horses, and grows onions and sweet peas. Pinpoint is his third novel. His previous novels, Ringman and The Double Tenth, are also published by Arrow.
