Books by Doug Thompson

Formerly a university professor of Modern Italian studies, Doug has lived in Italy, Singapore and Ireland and has travelled widely, especially in Australia, reads endlessly, and is now occupied in distilling the experiences of a full life into words and paint. He has published extensively, including Cesare Pavese (Cambridge UP) and State Control in Fascist Italy: Culture and Conformity, 1925-43 (Manchester UP).
