The authors are both barristers with many years of experience. David Ashton has a wide knowledge of club law, having been Counsel to the Kennel Club since 1984. He also has extensive experience of drafting club constitutions. Paul Reid's expertise in club law stems form the fact that he is Counsel for the National Golf Clubs' Advisory Association. In this capacity, he regularly advises on the wide range of issues affecting clubs.
