Claire Austin runs a successful hardy-plants nursery near Wolverhampton, specialising in irises. After training as a book illustrator, she took charge of the perennial plants at her father's renowned David Austin Roses, and this was where irises first caught her eye. With over 17 years' experience of these plants, she is now a recognised authority and is continually adding to her collection.
