Adrian Besley enjoyed a long career at the BBC in London as a copywriter. He went on to write for a variety of children's television series, including the classic Wombles and Upstairs Downstairs Bears. He grew up an avid fan of Monty Python's Flying Circus and has realized a dream in spending his time researching and writing this book. Besley won the Bloomsbury Short Story Competition in 2014 and has worked on a wide range of humour, sport and popular culture books, including the popular YouTube World Records, The Dangerous Book for Idiots and The Outdoor Book for Adventurous Boys. He lives in London.
