Graham Bound was born in Stanley, and was educated in Stanley and Montevideo, Uruguay. He is the founder and Editor of the local newspaper Penguin News, Publication ceased briefly in 1982 during the Occupation but Penguin News returned and remains the sole local paper today. Following the war he became local correspondent for British national papers and agencies, including The Daily Mail. The Sunday Times, the Press Association and UPI. Graham has recently worked for BBC World Service Radio, and was assistant Editor on Soldier Magazine, gaining awards for his features and reporting of the Kosovo campaign. He was recently appointed Editor of the Ministry of Defence's monthly magazine, Focus.
