Andrew Chapman is a freelance writer, editor and designer working across a peculiar variety of fields, from the internet and recruitment to medicine, religion and property. After graduating from Edinburgh University and spending an unlikely spell as a security guard, he went to work for Future Publishing, where at the age of 23 he became an editor of one of its computer magazines. Since then he has freelanced for a wide range of publications, including The Independent. He is an associate editor of Interviewer, the leading weekly news magazine for the recruitment industry, and he has also been closely involved with the launch of numerous websites.
