Natasha Sheldon studied Ancient History and Archaeology at the University of Leicester. Apart from a brief spell in Bristol to complete her MA, she has lived in the city for the last 17 years. Now a writer and researcher, her passions are history, archaeology and historical travel writing. Published work to date includes a range of travel guides to Pompeii and Herculaneum,including discovering Pompeii, and a number of articles on ancient history and archaeology.
