Janet Thomas has lived in Cornwall all her life and has a deep-rooted affection for the area and people. An avid reader from an early age, Jane spent her working life in the county library service, where she met and married her librarian husband. After raising three daughters, Jane gained an arts degree and is now a full-time author. Her previous novel, Rough Heritage was also published by Hale.
