Dilys Rose lives in Edinburgh. She mostly writes poetry and fiction, though has also written for stage and screen and enjoys collaborating with visual artists and musicians. She is currently working on the libretto for a chamber opera, The Child of Europe, with composer Rory Boyle, and a music theatre piece, Helter Skelter. She teaches on the creative writing course at Edinburgh University. Dilys has won many awards for her writing, including The Robert Louis Stevenson Memorial Award and two Scottish Arts Council Book Awards.
