Melanie Barnard and Brooke Dojny write the monthly column "30-Minute Main Courses" for Bon Appetit magazine. They have co-authored more than eight cookbooks together including the James Beard Award-winning AMA Family Cookbook and continue to contribute articles to Food & Wine, Gourmet, Chocolatier, Cook's Illustrated, Family Circle, Yankee, and Eating Well magazines, both singly and as a team. They live with their families in Connecticut. Photographer: Maren Caruso is a San Francisco-based photographer specializing in food.
