BILL BEVAN is an archaeologist, writer and photographer. Over 21 years he has worked for the National Trust, English Heritage and the Peak District National Park Authority as a landscape archaeologist in the Lake District, Battle Abbey and the Peak District. Bill has written four books including the Frances Lincoln title Walk Into Prehistory as well as numerous articles on archaeology and history. He has also appeared on such television programme's as Channel 4's Time Team and BBC's Flog It!
