Alison Haynes studied law and medicine before deciding to write full time. She has been widely published in magazines and authored Facefacts: A Guide to Cosmetics, Skin and Hair Care, Reader's Digest Easy Guide to Your Rights in Australia and The Art of Healthy Eating. The aim of all three books was to provide practical, useful information in a readable, interesting format. Alison has made many appearances on regional and national television and radio where she has spoken on health and consumer rights. She lives in Sydney.
